https://pkmnzinehub.carrd.co/#guidelines__Here is a list of more concise requirements for this zine:__♡ Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.♡Applicants must show at least 3 examples of fully finished artwork.♡ Applications must show at least 10 total pieces in their portfolio.♡ At least 3 pieces of pokemon, animal, furry or monster art. More pieces are not required but HIGHLY recommended. Other art may include humans, backgrounds, etc.♡ We will not be accepting physical merch artists for this zine
What size is the zine going to be?Zine will be 8.5" x 5.5" landscape!Why do applicants have to be 18 if the zine is sfw?We just prefer to work with adults. Simple as that.Is this zine For Profit or For Charity?This zine will be released as a free digital only zine.How will contributors be compensated?Contributors will receive a finished digital copy of the zine and any digital merch.How will the assignment process go for this zine?We will look at pitches from our applications, and partially go off of that. We will also have a "Pitch Period" for the zine where contributors can bounce ideas off of the mods and other contributors to help decide on a topic. As this is not one of our Team's Type Zines the assignment process is going to be a more relaxed and we will not be assigning specific trainers or pokemon. Rather we will take your pitches into account as well as avoiding as many duplicate characters as possible. to make sure we have a wide variety of pokemon art and scenarios in our book!What characters are allowed for this zine?All canon pokemon characters from the games, anime, comics, etc are allowed into this zine! OCs and Ships are allowed as well but all characters must be 18 years or older.How many assignments will there be?We're going to try to accept as many contributors as we're able and do not have an exact limit yet. We will not be able to accept everyone who applies due to time constraints, but we want to accept more contributors than are typically possible in a physically printed zine!

ARTIST GUIDELINES- The rating of this zine is PG-13. The following topics will not be allowed into the zine:
- Blood/Gore
- Graphic Violence
- Sexual Content
- Most Dark Themes
- If you are in doubt about whether the content you want to draw is allowed, please check with the mods- The zine will be 8.5 x 5.5 Landscape. Please allow .125 inch of bleed around all edges. Thusly making the actual size of your files 8.625 x 5.625.- All artwork will be done in RGB. No need for CMYK conversion!- Files should be submitted at 300 DPI as a PNG, PSD, or PDF.- Artists will be allotted up to 4 pages if they so desire. This can be 4 pages, 2 pages and 1 spread, 2 spreads, or 4 comic pages!- All artwork should be about aspects of everyday life in the Pokémon world.- Both canon characters are OCs are allowed!- Ships are allowed, but we would ask that characters are 18+. This includes both canon characters and OCs. We also ask that romantic displays be kept to the above rating of PG-13 with no sexual content allowed. Hand Holding, Kissing, Etc are allowed.
WRITER GUIDELINES- The rating of this zine is PG-13 - this includes some swearing, no alluding to sexual content, and no graphic violence.- Pieces should be 3000 words maximum. Shorter works are also welcome!- All works should be properly edited by the writer and beta read by a second person- Fics should be about aspects of everyday life in the Pokémon world.- Both canon characters and OCs are allowed!- Ships are allowed, but we would ask that characters are 18+ - this includes both canon characters and OCs. If you are in doubt about whether the ship you want to write about is allowed, please check with the mods- Final pieces should be submitted as a .doc, .dox, or google docs file
For purposes consistency, please capitalise all Pokémon names and use the Pokémon name for both singular and plural (eg one Munchlax, three Munchlax)
